My extraordinary majors

Thrilled and excited? These feelings might be desires that are felt by graduated senior high school students. They would face a new challenge ahead especially for them who wanted to continue their study to the next level namely college. As a person who had ever felt in that condition, it happened to me as well. I couldn't hide my enthusiasm when I was accepted by one of private colleges in the District of Bandung. At that time, I was officially colleger majoring visual communication design. Nevertheless, I was concerned with the focus of visual communication design in my college which was a little bit different from other colleges. Actually, instead of focusing on art, my major tended to study management. I learned art actually at the beginning of the semester but in the next semester, we had to pick a concentration that was divided into two things, there were technopreneurship and multimedia marketing. After undergoing it, it's not that bad anyway. I learned marketing theories such as deciding segmentation, targeting, and positioning, I also learned how to promote a product, became an entrepreneur, etc. What they wanted to emphasize was to make a promotion design which was as efficient as the target market's need.

Well, I think that's all the information about my incredibly valuable experience of my undergraduate degree. I will continue to my master degree.

My master degree started in October 2017. I was lucky to be accepted in a favorite college in Bogor and my major was communication development. Communication development had a different focus from communication in general. If common communication studied advertising, broadcasting, promotion, etc, in communication development, we learned about how to empower the lower-middle-class profession such as coastal community, fisherman, farmer, etc. We needed to be sensitive to social issues related to those professions. It's a bit difficult for me to do the thesis but I believed that no matter how hard it was if you pushed the limit, the limit was only in the sky.
