How Mr. Roberto Mancini inspires me in football

To be successful, we need to dream high. By dreaming high, we will able to get motivation and spirit to deliver the dream we want to achieve. Honestly, the dream that i want is to be a football manager and Mr. Roberto Mancini is my inspiration. Why Roberto Mancini ? Because he was quite successful as Internazionale Milano manager. Moreover, he has granted some trophies for Inter and the important thing is that he was the one who broke the curse for Internazaionale Milano that couldn't win a trophy for years. Even though it's been too late for me to reach the dream but, at least i could deliver it through video game (lol). In this article, i would discuss about player formation and one of the best tactic that Mr. Roberto Mancini implemented during his job as manager in Internazionale Milano. One of my favourite Roberto Mancini's formation in Internazionale was 4-3-1-2. for the goal keeper there was Julio Cesar, for the center backs there were Materazzi and Cordoba, for the full backs there were Chivu and Maicon, for the defensive midfielders there were J. Zanetti, Cambiasso and Vieira, for attacking midfielder there was Stankovic and for the strikers there were Crespo and Ibrahimovic.

The full back funcionated to bring the ball from behind to the front through dribbling, but if the opponent marked the full back directly, the full back would make a long pass to the front. The midfielder played a role as a players who held up the ball. The purpose was to possess the ball. The midfielder would pass the ball depending on the strategy. If the tactic were passing down both flank. They would pass to the full back who played a role as a wings but, if the tactic were passing through the middle, they would pass the ball to the play maker. The play maker would be the bridge from the midfielder to the target man. The target man had a free role in order to confuse the opponent's defense. After the opponent's defense focused on the target man, he would pass the ball to the finisher. Before getting the ball from the target man, the finisher needed to place his position into a free position.

Finally, this was the strategy Mr. Mancini had implemented during his time taking a charge in Internazionale Milano. He was one of my favourite football manager. He really inspired me in implementing football's strategy. After Mr. Roberto Mancini, There are still managers that absolutely inspire us about the strategy of football. Look forward to other articles written by me. Thank you for reading, with this, i, Nurendra Riastyanto, sign out.
